# Connect Shoprenter

OptiQube reads your Shoprenter products live over the shop's API.

> **Note:** The Shoprenter API comes with the **Gold** plan and up.

## Get the values in Shoprenter

1. In your Shoprenter admin, open **Settings**, then **API user** in the **API settings** block.
2. Switch the API on, then copy the **API user** and the **API password**. No API user yet? Create one and save it.
3. Your **shop name** is the part before `.shoprenter.hu` in your admin's address.

## Connect it in OptiQube

1. Click the store name in the top-left corner → **Connections** → **Connect catalog**.
2. Under **Where do your products live?**, choose **Shoprenter**.
3. Fill in **Shop name**, **API user** and **API password**.
4. Click **Connect shop**.
5. If OptiQube asks **Use one of your feed slots?**, confirm.

## What OptiQube reads

Active products; variants fold into their parent product. They are read again on their own: every hour if the store has an active campaign or a live product group, otherwise once a day.
