# Connect Unas

OptiQube reads your Unas products live over the shop's API.

> **Note:** The Unas API comes with the **PREMIUM** and **VIP** plans.

## Create the key in Unas

1. In your Unas admin, open **Settings → External connections → API connection**.
2. Create a new API key, give it a name (for example "OptiQube") and tick **getProduct** and **getCategory**.
3. Save it, then copy the key.

## Connect it in OptiQube

1. Click the store name in the top-left corner → **Connections** → **Connect catalog**.
2. Under **Where do your products live?**, choose **Unas**.
3. Paste the key under **API key**.
4. Click **Connect shop**.
5. If OptiQube asks **Use one of your feed slots?**, confirm.

## What OptiQube reads

Active products; variants fold into their parent product. They are read again on their own: every hour if the store has an active campaign or a live product group, otherwise once a day.
