Product sources and feed slots

Which product sources you can connect, what OptiQube reads from them, and how feed slots work.

Updated Oct 13, 2026 · 3 min read

A product source is where OptiQube reads your products from: names, prices, pictures and links. Without one, the agent can still build concepts from products it finds on your website, but you need a connected source to roll a style out to your whole range and to keep prices, stock and new products in sync with your ads.

Where to connect a source

You can start from any of these:

  • Click the store name in the top-left corner → Connections → Connect catalog next to Products.
  • Click Products in the sidebar → Connect products.

Both open the same list: Where do your products live?

The sources

Source What you need What OptiQube reads Guide
Shopify Your shop's address Products, prices and pictures from the storefront Connect Shopify
Shopify with a token Your .myshopify.com domain and an Admin API access token Active products; variants stay inside their product Connect Shopify with a token
WooCommerce Shop URL, consumer key and consumer secret Published products Connect WooCommerce
XML feed The URL of a Google Shopping or Meta-style XML export id, title, description, link, image_link and price of each item Connect an XML feed
Meta catalog A connected Meta account and a catalog in Commerce Manager Every item in the catalog Connect a Meta catalog
Shoprenter Shop name, API user and API password Active products; variants fold into their parent Connect Shoprenter
Unas One API key Active products; variants fold into their parent Connect Unas

Shopify, WooCommerce, Shoprenter and Unas are read again on their own: every hour if the store has an active campaign or a live product group, otherwise once a day.

On Meta's side, set your catalog's data feed to read hourly in Commerce Manager too.

Tip

Every source you connect feeds one shared product pool. Creatives, feeds and campaigns draw from all of your sources at once.

Manage a connected source

Once a source is connected, Connections shows it under Products with its name, number of products and the time of the last sync.

  • Resync reads the source again right away, instead of waiting for the next scheduled read.
  • Manage opens the Product sources page. It shows each connected source with the time it was last read, how many products it has and how many have an image, and lets you Read now, Disconnect or Add another source.
  • Disconnect removes the source. It does not free its feed slot.

A connected source on the Product sources page

To see the products themselves, click Products in the sidebar. See Browse your products.

Feed slots

Your plan includes a number of feed slots: Starter has 1, Growth 3 and Pro 6. You can see how many you have used at the top of the Product sources page, and under Feed slots used on the Subscription page.

Watch out

A slot is used when a shop connects a product feed for the first time, and disconnecting does not free it. Before a slot is used, OptiQube asks Use one of your feed slots? Before you confirm, check that you have the right store selected in the top-left corner.

Adding more stores (domains) is free; only feed slots are limited by your plan. Need more than six feeds? Look at the Agency plans in Plans and pricing.
